Goddess Provisions Subscription Box Review – August 2017
It’s Goddess Provisions unboxing day! If you’re new to GP, it’s a vegan subscription box founded by the peeps from Vegan Cuts, and it’s probably one of my favorite subby boxes EVAH. I especially love that it’s curated “to have beautiful tools for nourishing your divine feminine and growing your spiritual practice.”
Goddess Provisions delivers a mix of 4-7 full size items in each box, ranging from aromatherapy, apothecary beauty products, superfood snacks, teas, crystals, books and more – vegan & cruelty-free, of course. You can check out all of my previous Goddess Provisions box reviews here.
Cost: $33 per month. You can save a little extra each month if you sign up to be billed every 3, 6 or 12 months instead of monthly. Peep their site to see all the payment options available. Shipping to U.S. is FREE. Canadian shipping is $10 and rest of world is $20.
August’s GP Box theme was “Unicorn Magic,” which literally made me squeeeeeee. I’m all about dat unicorn lyfe! ♥
August’s Goddess Provisions box included:
Let’s Put A Bird on It Unicorn Dust, $12 – This one got a bit messy during shipping, so all my goodies were slightly covered in sparkly magic dust, but I ain’t complaining. This is an organic cream highlighter that can be used on your cheekbones, corners of the eyes, etc… basically anywhere you want a lil’ mystical shimma shimma. It’s made with flower infused oils, vegan mica and vitamin E oil. It’s super pretty and all kinds of mesmerizing.
Unicorn Makeup Brush, $11 – As unicorn-obsessed as I am, I’m shocked I don’t have any unicorn makeup brushes!! …until now, that is. This rainbow colored fan brush is perfect for applying a powdered highlighter. I’m not super duper blown away by the quality of this brush, but it’s definitely a cute one.
Heart + Hands Self-Care Sticker, $4 – I practice self-care daily. This is a cute reminder to keep it up and to not feel guilty about it. After all, taking care of yourself is the only way people get to enjoy the best version of you.
Soul Candy Chakra Diffuser Stone, $5 – I actually have an entire set of these diffuser chakra stones, and I love ’em! They’re handmade, easy to use (just add a few drops of your favorite essential oil), and they look really pretty in my scared space.
Awaken Essential Oils Rainbow Energy Inhaler, $12 – This is a Goddess Provisions box exclusive! Ooh, and they nailed the scent! It smells like Starburst candy – it’s a blend of rose, sweet orange, lemon, green mandarin, blue chamomile, and lavender essential oils. Yum!
Soul Sunday Unicorn Aromatherapy Roller, $ 18 – While this doesn’t smell obviously unicorny imho (I think of unicorn scents as being over-the-top sweet and fruity), it does have an invigorating and harmonizing blend of peppermint and lavender essential oil, which I definitely dig. It makes me feel alert and revived.
Sweetapolita Twinkle Sprinkles, $9 – OK, stop!! Loooooooove ♥ Most store-bought sprinkles aren’t vegan because they’re covered in confectioner’s glaze (which I believe is derived from insects, I could be wrong, but I know it’s def not vegan)… so, coming across these colorful, all-vegan sprinkles that include edible stars (yassssssss) is quite exciting! Lovin’ these particular colors, too – so vibrant! Cupcakes are in order this weekend! 🙂
Crystal Rose Amethyst Orgone Wand, $18 – This is a unicorn inspired resin wand filled with rose quartz, amethyst, and crystal quartz. Aside from being pretty (total eye candy), the info card says you can use this for massage – feet, hands, neck, shoulder, or back… how cool! That’s some multitasking magic!
Overall impression: This month’s Goddess Provisions theme was one of my favorites… c’mon, unicorn anything is always a winner! GP consistently kills it, and literally EVERY single item was a hit. The total value of this box is $90 and faves include the unicorn sprinkles, orgone wand/massager, and unicorn dust. SO much good stuff this month!
What do you guys think of Goddess Provisions? If you love what you see, you can sign up here to start receiving this monthly box, too.
